What is life?
Is it but a simple thing?
Once torn, never to come back?

As I lie here on blood soaked ground,
Such things fill my mind…
They call it murder…
But, if I have cut down men in the name
Of my country, does that not make me
A murderer?

Tears fall from your azure eyes,
They hold me close
Just before I die.

Don’t try to tell me to “not go”,
For I have fulfilled my duty
In this tale of woe.

I want to say “it’s better this way”
And yet…I do not want you
To stray.

Stay to your duties,
Marred not by grief,
And let this knight die in honored
Peace.

Shores of V'ia Tel I stand on the white washed shores of home,
staring out to distant seas.
I wonder when my love will be home,
riding back on crested waves.

I stand on the white washed shores of home,

Man, who knew being a pre-law Poli Sci major could be so busy? I suppose in hindsight I DID know, so I had to focus more on schoolwork than cosplay prep or anything.
But I've still got cosplay choices for Ohayocon, so that's nice! I'm debating if I want to bring out Sho Minamimoto from The World Ends With You again or not. Since I've some experience with body paint now I can do his arm tattoo justice! But I'm also debating Spades Slick and genderbent Vriska Serket from Homestuck. So three choices and two days of cosplaying and dancing! Going to be tough to decide.

Well, I got about a week or so to get everything straight. Here's hoping everything goes okay!
